Beautiful and artistic and very, very effective. I too love the shiny hiney ;-). I think your pixelated texturing works really well on the subjects, but find it a bit "blocky" in a digital artifact way in the background. Just my personal opinion, of course... I mught try a finer grainy approach in the background, to offset the stronger texturing of the subjects. Perhaps just using the noise filter (gaussian/monochromatic) might be a nice touch - and easy to see the immediate effect by just playing with the slider... Just a thought. I love the warm humanity and sense of culture you present in so many of your images. Wonderful stuff, Debra.

Aleksandra, I am learning P.S. so I am trying alot of different things. With this image I used the charcol filter. I thought I was finished but it looked a little flat to me so I tried increasing the contrast. Increasing the contrast wasn't the thing to do so I added some pixelation. I like it now. Thank you for you sweet comment.

I have to agree with Khafid tonight since he beat me to the punch. Plus, I want to add a few observations of my own. Deb, I just love the little shiney hiney. This is such a precious photograph. This image has an original quality unlike the first version (which I also loved). I believe the magic is in the texture that you add to this image. What ever it is, this is a wonderful presentation. Thank you!!

i like this one a lot, but it looks a little bit pixelated, was it a small file?

Debra, I saw you struggle working on several images for your submission tonight. I went to bed slept a few hours and found you still at work. I am very happy with your choice and for a few reasons. First I love this image. I feel this image is strong in composition and the lighting is beautiful. It has a very strong emotional appeal which keeps you looking and studying its content for a very lengthly time. Overall I would have to say, "Beautiful and Excellent".
