Harlan, there is something so simple and serene about this shot. And you know what's amazing? I easily see a beach, and a sky, and even a bird flying in that sky. Wonderful, wonderful work.

A young forest grows here, stretching their limits by the lakeside to become larger. Mostly Birch, some Alder push from the ground to reach up to the morning light which is diffused through the mist. The birds are awakened and announce the day.

It's darn right beauitful! Marvelous colors and textures. I personally like the brighter top getting darker as it goes down the steel canvas. Great strokes! Speaking of strokes! May I say a stroke of genius Harlan! Monumental find!
