Another one from the Pacific coast in Washington state. Even with a 20 mm lens, I could not fully include the trees on top of the big rock without putting the horizon unacceptably low in the image--suggestions?
Lovely stretch of beach you found here, what a pity you didn't have a wide-angle wide enough to capture all of the rock and trees on the right,it would have been a great shot.If I were you I'd buy a Sigma 15-30 wide-angle lense(that's what i want for Xmas!)and get down to this location again, preferably on a 'big cloud day'.If you combine a polarizer and a red filter you'd get a really contrasty, dramatic shot. With the wider lense you'd also be able to include more of that excellent foreground and that big rock on the left would have a bit more breathing space.Hope you don't have to wait until Xmas and you get a chance to reshoot soon! Regards Tony.
