To be honest kim, imo for high iso digital is the way to go, its just ridiculously good, provided u expose carefully the noise is minimal. I'm very* happy with it anyway, can't say for sure how every digi will handle it,but from the various comments of disbelief ive gotten (regarding the iso i used) i gather not every digicam is so hot up at the high iso's. nuff sed. For the lighting, i wasnt too thrilled, wanted to ask him to move his stool over a lil so he'd be in the good light, but didnt, no biggy, thx for your comments, always appreciated.
This has very little grain for 3200 iso... does a digital camera work different in low light situations? You've produced a sharp, clean image. Love the expression on the face and the lighting is pretty good... could have maybe waiting until he leaned into the light a bit more to light up his face, but all in all, for these kind of shots, you've done a great job. Oh yeah, like the motion blur on his hand as well.
