About	When I took this image I could not decide whether I liked it better with the fence in front of it (see previous post). And I still don\'t know... The other one makes a better postcard, probably :) But I also like the way the shadows of the trees fill the foreground here. The light at that time of day was very harsh, and the high contrast flattened the colours. Therefore, I increased the colour saturation (which created a purple cast) and added some yellow to get a warmer colour.

you are right the tree shadows do make an interesting diagonal especially when contrasted against the other row of trees...I can see that the light was harsh and difficult...
