This is a splendid composition Adam, I like the indevidual aspects that make up this image, but I might be inclined to change the brick wall for maybe a parchment or linen perhaps as the words would be more in keeping on that. I like the tear in your grandaughters eye and it conveys sadness very well, everything is held together very nicely with a good balance of tones - Richard.

I dont usually care for images like this where several things are composited together but not really intended to go together; but this is such a strong and powerful image. Wonderful work Adam. Excellent blending and tones. Top marks from me. Well done.

Beautiful image, well done.
My only concern is that the candle flame is too high and is (for me) a distraction from the girl's lovely face and expression.
