Looks like a winner to me, Kenneth. I am a nut for reflections.

Having grown up in Quebec with relatives in nearby Port Daniel, I have visited Perce Rock many times and have seen and enjoyed many pictures of this famous landmark.
What I like most about this photograph is how you have taken an icon and made it your own with the inclusion of these found transient objects. No one else is ever likely to see this same combination ever again. That makes the image totally unique and memorable.

Hey Kenneth-- Very sharp shot. Excellent composition. Really nice job with the filter. Did the traps have anything in them?
Paul
Biochemistry? Stick with photography. You'll be a lot happier.

Beautifully done here! Technically a perfect shot. Just look at the detail in those rocks, they command your attention. The whole rock commands attention. My personal opinion however would have been to avoid the baskets altogether. They do little for me personally in this scene. In fact I would like to see this with the big rock by itself, did you catch some like that?? Still, a beautiful photograph Ken. Do you have as much enjoyment with the bio-chemistry as doing this??

Nice shot Kenneth, tremendeous saturation! But I don?t think the two traps add anything to the composition. Yet a teriffic shot!

Kenneth,
Are you sure you want to make your living in Bio-Chem? I love this shot! The detail with the cragey rock projecting out of the ocean, the stones rounded from the many years of being rolled around on each other in the shallows, and the lobster trap. Just great composition. The colors are great, the scene is great. Are you considering selling these? Another Favorite added to the list.

Rich, Vital, Brilliant, exceptional--well composed, tons of interest, wonderful reflections, incredible color, rich emotions--otherwise--just another beach scene with water and a rock...
