This is a very strong image. It's hard to go wrong with infrared film (or the equivalent in digital) when shooting anything to do with weddings. It's a day that tends to seem very surreal, even to the bride and groom, and infrared photography just reinforces that feeling. I love your composition and the overall simplicity and impact it gives to this image. Very well done. :) I'm sure your friends are very proud to have had you shoot their wedding.

beautiful situation - very much like a fairy tale - standing in the beach grass in front of the cottage they plan to embark their life in (this may not be the case but...) the infrared increases the fairy tale illusion...
love that he is in a kilt and she has a matching plaid wrap...
