Digital in not fake it is a diferent form of photograhty. Once yoy have an image you can become more creative ... Just think no more film ,film files, looking at contact sheets, ....I did film for many years. I'm done....
This is a nice image. ... Take Tobih advice change angles techniques ... explore...

Its a fine photo Ryan... but I think you need to start exploring some more angles. Its quite apparent that you shoot the BMX industry quite a bit. Some of your angles are great, some are quite bland. I think this one falls into the bland. It looks as if you set up a slave or two to light up this front side Rock N Roll, but it still looks like you might have just been standing there shooting a photo. With that digi... you COULD have explored alot of angles quickly to see which one worked best. Use that Digi to the best of your ability. Its the greatest tool when shooting action sports cause you KNOW when you get the shot that works best AND when your subject NAILS it. I'm in the same boat. Keep at it. You've got great stuff!
