Thank you all for your comments and advice. Yes, somehow I also thought that the color version is a bit better.
As about the electric light-posts... yes it's pitty that they are there, but I'm trying to see it from the bright side: it gives some rhythm to the photo and helps a bit the perspective... and the biking man... to find the path into the wood :-)
Bikas D: no, I really don't mind your operation, it's a nice atempt to get rid of those light-posts... but I do think the composition it's more balanced as it is.
As about the color correction: yes, I do think your correction is "right"... I used manual WB here, but there was some "yellowish" cast anyway... I corrected in PS (and got something similar with yours), but, somehow I liked it more with that cast... but I didn't think about more contrast (as you changed it in your version?)... and I think I like your suggestion. Thank you, once again, Alex

No, it wouldn't be better in B&W, and though it's a shame about the lamp-posts I think that cropping them out alters the whole balance of the composition. So I think you got it just right, Altur.
Regards, Chris.

Well, the row of electric light-posts at left are great mismach with the serenity of this beautiful nature. Anyway, I post here my ver. with due apology for the operation.
