Liz-- you nailed it with the swan shot-- I love it, and the water is excellent. It reminds me of late evening or very early morning rather than moonlight though-- although those three kinds of light are similar. I also really like what you did with the dark swan. Nice work-- your swan pics have improved greatly.

I have raised Pheasants, Wild Turkeys, and other small birds...
all for the fun of it...
releasing them to the wild...
for others to enjoy...
and with all of them...
I can not tell the gender...
until they are fully grown...
But with this capture...
and your PS fiddling...
You have shown...
the male & the Female!
But to capture them in their starkies...
really... rather indiscrete!
But tell me which one died...
must have been the boy!

Elizabeth, it's very cool! I think the fact one is darker works well, looks more in the shadows. You could try both white. One of these died. :(

Hi Elizabeth..well for starters, I love it...and I'd say that taken durning the waning moments of the sun at days end better describes it...for if it were moonlight, I would expect to see more of a blue color...the composition is beautiful and I'd probably attempt to bring out the eye and a catchlight in the right swan...other than that, I say frame it, hang it and enjoy...it's a beauty

Now that I look at it,,,,I think I would like just white swans. What do you think?? One of the white ones died,,,and only 2 babies left. Elizabeth
