i think your right, the more i look at it, the more the white stands out. the original attempt was to produce a dreamlike+old memory of a place...perhaps with other images against this one the idea would be enhanced, but by itself, it gets lost.

I like the emotional appeal, and the way the eye travels, but the white corner totally dominates the picture, and makes my eye go straight to it. I would have made it more black.
