Personally, I don't think that old city of Venice goes well along with modern filters of digital retouching... The composition is great and the thumbnail is very catching. But the way you arranged/edited it, make it look just a little too artificial.
Just MHO, nothing more.

Le rielaborazione rende molto bene l'atmosfera di Venezia, tra il magico ed il decadente, l'aspetto ed il colore dei palazzi, l'acqua che non sembra mare, peccato solo che le figure umane assomiglino un po' troppo ai personaggi dei cartoon, specialmente i due sulla gondola, per il resto comunque è un'immagine bellissima. The composition and image is fine but I think you have used filters to give a painting effect which hasn't quite made it. I think to make it look a little better if it was lightened and desaturated a little it would look more painterley.But that is just my humble opinion. Regards Marie
