Two very nice photos, and not a bad idea to put them together. However, I agree w/ In Transits comment that the elaborate framing detracts from the wonderful simplicity of the two compositions. I too would like to see each picture presented separately so they could be seen in larger format.

A wonderful locale...
Both the individual captures are very pleasing...
bringing back memories...
But find that the framing takes away... or does not compliment.

Absolutely beautiful, once again, Laurie. Fantastic tones and composition and texture and color for a real evocation of Western Mission atmosphere. Great composition and great presentation as a pair. I only wish that they were bigger to enjoy all the more... OutstandinG... Perfect 7's from me here...
