This image was shot as a black and white image using a 4x5 camera with a 16 million pixel digital back. I changed the file in photoshop from a grayscale file to a RGB file. I then colored selected areas of the image in photoshop. 5 speedotron 102 lights were used to light the shot. Two were in front of the model using large softboxes, one above and in front of her head and one below. (the bottom lights catch light was taken out of her eyes in photoshop) One light on the background shooting through a gobo. One hair light above the model, camera right, using a 7 inch reflector with a 10 degree spot grid, and one large softbox behind the model and to her right, camera left.
Wow...now there's a lot of $$$$$ invested in the production of that photograph! Interesting how you left texture in everything except her face. Very creative.
