Dear Rafael, Have you considered giving a bluish cast to your background. That would add some contrast in colors to this picture as well as suggest some aerial perspective - meaning it would put a little more distance between the main subject and its background. You could pick a color close to the light one in the cat's eye. If this picture is not going to be totally monochromatic, the eye and the background could be used as repeats of color between each other. These are some rules in painting that could also be effectively applied to photography. I hope it helps. Regards, Diane
