this one has a perfection about it i like very much: the exact crop by the arms, the tight crop at the shadows' fingertips, even the edge of the mirror shooting off at an angle--and the same with the reflected light below. the severe hair style is perfect. all these precise placements create a feeling of significance beyond the musical allusions. you're using a color film, which probably accounts for the low contrast. maybe a little more contrast, or take it darker or lighter, or both. for some reason the absence of clear highlights makes the picture feel burdened, but maybe that's just me.
