Who says we can't paint in photography? It's becoming more and more so. You've done a seamless job with the moon and the sky. The thin black border kinda tricks the eye into thinking it's from a slide.
BTW, I like your little bio. Very similar to my own photographic journey. And I too am glad for the arrival of digital photography. But you know, I don't think I'll ever abandon film.

Thanks for all your comments. LaMarro- this is a double exposure (like most moon landscapes). The camera was on a tripod and I exposed one frame for the moon and then a longer exposure for the foreground. I then pasted the properly exposed moon into the foreground shot (in the same position and size as it really was). This is about the only way to do this type of landscape as the exposure value for the moon is the same as the sun.
