The contrast of the Summer Rose meeting Winter snow. Such a beautiful vivid red contrasting so well with the snow. The form of the Rose is lovely but I think it's the perfect focus and composition that make this shot. Think I would crop out that second rose as I think it's slightly distracting. Added this to my favourites.

One of the nicest floral shots I've seen. The composition and color are superb. Just the right blur/soften in the background. Almost can't believe you caught this with the Sony.....and in low light!! Excellent!!

I love the colours! An opportunistic shot - I'm glad you decided to get up early in the cold to get it. The snow is a bit overexposed, but I always find it difficult to get detail in white objects (especially on an overcast, snowy day). Reds are also tough to do, but you managed to capture the detail in these roses quite nicely. I like the greenery in the background, but it looks a bit pixelated. Could it be your scanner? I know mine does this to me sometimes.
This is the kind of image that really appeals to me, but I'm a bit of a winter freak. :)
