About	Taken in Tampa, FL. He was visiting during my lunch hour and I managed to get off a few shots before I was told by the Security Guards that I couldn't take photos on the property.

Given the conditions with the security guards it is an acceptable result. If you had more time it would have been better to crop the annoying branches on the right and use a bit of fill in flash just to get some sparkle in the birds eye. I would also have tried one more shot at a wider setting to show more of the birds habitat. Overall a pleasing result.

It's nice to see a bird shot that gives a good idea of the bird's surroundings. And you did that very well here. The background is clean and smooth. But it does match the heron in brightness and hue. A little more separation would've been nice. If you had a little more time, try waiting for him to turn his body towards you a little.
