superb-lovely toning-moving-in my favs. you are asking me how I did my abstract. Well, they were reeds in a pond. I converted them into B&W and then inverted (neg to pos) and then with the magic wand selected them a few at the time and filled them with colour! VOILA! thanx for interest!

Gerhard, they may be poor in material things, but they are so rich as you can tell of the love for each other and having the other to hold onto. A wonderful capture. Regards.

Beautiful and very expressive photo. I like the composition too... maybe I'd like to see "the big girl's" (?) left hand whole... or at least a few more pixles to the right? Very nice... good work. Regards, Alex
PS: as about the title... I'm not so sure: if you meant it as a contrast to what the photo is expressing... yes.. then is a good choise... otherwise, sorry... the look in their eyes and that hand over the little girl's head... are so far away from "poor" as you can get... or maybe, we, the people sitting behind a PC's monitor that are "poor"? ;-)

Photos which always stir up emotions. Good composition, nice backlighting but with some burned places. Something's wrong with the sharpness. Overall - very good.
