Haven't tried that yet, but it sounds good. The only problem is that of the many mills in our area, there is none that is still turning. So the only movement I would be able to capture is that of the trees.

Have you tried shooting mills on an overcast, windy day, with a slow shutter speed to capture the motion, possibly with flash at the end of the exposure?

I agree about the frame Matej, it could fill up more empty sky, and perhaps not touching the mill would be better. As for the shadows: good question... Now we have to try to find the answer...

I like your approach of framing the mill by the leaves. That frame could be even denser, IMO, to cover the empty sky areas; but perhaps it shouldn't touch the mill building. I can't decide about the lighting. The sun seems to be low and gives a nice colour to the plants and leaves, and provides for the shadows of the mill arms. But those shadows don't seem to have a large enough area to stand out on properly. So the question is, do they add to the image or subtract from it?
