nice still life, Teunis. Composition is okay except I find the plant in back of the basket very distracting and I have to agree with Dan, I think the lighting is a little harsh for a shot like this. Softer light and a blurred background or maybe a different background would have been better.

This photo just doesn't do it for me. There is some nice texture and detail on the fruit, but the basket is way to bright and draws attention away. Was a flash used on this?
