This is a popular eatery in the center of Huntingdon, Quebec, Canada. All it serves are chips, hot dogs, hamburgers and a concoction called Poutine. The latter is composed of chips with a sauce made from melted cheese and other things not revealed by the proprietor, he jealously guards the secret recipe . The establishment is frequented regualarly by the school kids at lunch times and other persons who feel that their internal digestive organs can deal with the diet in the long term; time will, of course, tell. This is not an image of beauty, but I liked the bent reflection at the edge of the water fall as the River Chteauguay pours through the centre of town after two days of rain.
Alan, I love those bent reflections. The picture might even gain strength from being cropped to give them grater emphasis--I was thinking of narrowing it down almost so that it looked like a panorama on its side (one of my favourite tricks as you know).
Alan, this is actually a very nice photo. And your story behind it is so interesting, and really adds so much to it. Nice colors and lighting. Thanks for sharing it with us.
