I believe a better photo could have been had if the docks were eliminated. Perhaps by walking closer to the trees which are the focal point of this image. Otherwise you made good use of a difficult lighting situation. Back lit trees are gorgeous.

Beautiful landscape Donna, and I can see why you titled it "Intensity"-- especially the "sheen" on the water, but also the autumn color (BTW, there are no Redwoods at Lake Tahoe-- too cold and dry for them;>) Cheers. Craig

Great lighting and colors , Donna. Without the pier this would be even better ; it's distracting from the trees ; the light-reflections behind it destroy's the pier anyway.
