About	walking in the rain trying to keep up, balance the umbrella and taking a picture - something had to give, in this case it was focusing, but that works for me.

Thanks Ulf I agree about the focusing : )

I just put that in there as a kind of disclaimer, that it was intentionally blurry or I would get 10 comments telling me it was out of focus

This image has a true classic feeling.

Focusing? Well that?s only for cowards as a friend of mine

Yes I believe that it does work with the out of focus. It gives it a chaotic feel, as if you?re rushing through the rain.
