i really like your composition. the beads coming out of the frame are a really nice touch. i would like to see it all in really sharp focus, though. the beads in the foreground look a little soft.

There is but one other idea...
around 300 BC the Romans invented the ABACUS...
It was made of metal with rows of open slots that held beads inside each slot. The beads could be moved up and down within the slots to make calculations. Each row of slots represented place values (tens, hundreds, etc.), and the beads acted as placeholders.
The Chinese and Russians followed with similar tools...
and still used today to price the cost of a camera... Kodak or otherwise as a Cannon!
The capture and thought process is good!
