Christmas has just gone, Now I am counting the cost of shopping. After seeing this pic, you are tempting to go again. God is there is no end for shopping.
Nice and interesting way to make people think.
Thank you for you comments on the boats in oil slick. I agree with your opinion. But what can you do - pollution is everywhere. Hopefuly it might improve.
You mentioned you are from big planes - do you fly yourself? Why not put your name for the European members meet in Netherlands. Please take a look at the suggestions forum. It will be interesting to meet you.

I feel you should have had better highlights and shadows. It a likeable shot, obviously you have taken the TOC reflections, probably off the highly reflective surface in the shopping mall. The small black cross thing on the far left handside, centre doesnt make sense, I would remove that, I noticed another one of the rubbish bin on the righthand side but that isnt as distracting. Maybe reshoot this shot at a different time of the day to get more detail in your shadow areas.

You seem to have reflected all the faces of shopping in this simple image. Shopping against depression, shopping to enjoy happiness, shppping to be together or shoppinmg to be alone. Not only the reflections, but even each person of your shot could tell us a story.
I like the meaning, I like the peculiar way to tell it to us.

jan, i am very much after "pictures behind pictures" where i try to pick up pictures and structures we normally overlook, and on the other hand for "reflexions" of all sorts. the latter is part of the search for the whereabouts of reality, are we inside or outside, is it real what we see and touch? but apart from all that this is just another picture offered to attract attention and make you think unrelated to what i have thought.
