This shot is grandeous. "then we who are alive, who are left, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so we shall always be with the Lord." -1Thes 4:17 I really like that towering cumulonimbus on the right, having more power over the other clouds in the area. And the black borders is always a nice thing to focus more on the center of the photo.

This is an awesome photo. I do love taking shots of sunrises and sunsets. You did a great job of capturing this one!
*side note*
I did take your advice about cropping my "loss of innocence" photo and you are right...it does look better. It focusses more on what is going on in the photo. (you are welcome to take a peek)
