"The race will run on lake Mälaren?s ice, between Uppsala and Stockholm. The majority of the skaters take part in the non-competative class. The race has a high international ranking and it is the Swedish skating marathon championship. In the competitive class the best skaters come from Holland, but we hope Vikingarännet will create interest among Swedish skaters so that they also become competitive skaters. What I like so much is that you managed to captured the skaters in a way that looks as if you had directed them into the frame Everyone of them looks to be "in the right place" And the yellow one and the red one seem to be there just to fit in to the scene "The world is a stage"
