Actually, after playing around with it, it seems to work best as a square image. Thanks for comment.

Explore the "rule of thirds" in regard to your composition. The flower is dead center in your photo. Having it off to the left or right would make your image stronger visually. Look for lines to lead your viewer to your subject. Composition is as important as technical skills. I've attached a cropped version of your image for comparison to show what I'm talking about. What do you think of the proposed change?
