Thanks all for comments. Now I know it is just another word for "busy" . I have other shots that are cropped with just the squirrel. Only way to get the "noise" out is using photoshop. Best I get on the program eh!

Geez, Sue! Do this all in one comment! :-)
I meant to say that this guy is a real cutie, but I think more emphasis should be placed on him. You might consider a different crop. I did this with MS Photo Editor.

"NOISE: Refers to sound, signal, or data that was not originally intended to be included." This is the definition on the website http://electronics.cnet.com/electronics/0-1629008-7-2643634.html#N
Basically, it's specks of light or an unsmoothness that detracts from an image. For example, in your lower left there are white speckles which interrupt the green and brown patches. Seemingly they are not intended.

I have learned a lot since I joined this site! Help a beginner out! What does "noise" mean? This picture has not been altered in any way. What you see is what I took. I think I should get photo shop tho!

Funny shot. The only problem (as I see it) is the image noise. Did you make it "sharp" in Photoshop? It looks a little overdone, but as I see you've used 800 film...
