Dear Antonella. Really you are strict in photography, having good notice about the lens (Tamron 28-300mm XR Macro). When you use the Tamron with your F100, may be the same result. This lens is very useful and has nice faculties, I think, but some restrictions in DOF of macro and that of in tele side--from 200mm to 300mm--esp.closer capture(from 48cmto about 1.5meters). As you know, right side of my pic (burnt log) was out of focus, it proves very shallow DOF in macro capture. And, when take macro pic with this lens, had better set your camera pararell against the object. It's very important matter to take macro shot or closer shot using this lens I took a limit photo of mosquito with it and posted ever this site Title is "Standing by", and 1/3 of the tail was out of focus, this DOF is about 2mm. And high aperture rate cannot help for good DOF. I remain yours truly. Yutaka,Ichinose.

Yutaka, nice shadowing and contrast. Wonderful against the greyed, barkless wood trunk. Good one!

Always fantastic work,Yutaka. The composition is really great and like every other photo of yours,it shows your aesthetic eye. I have a question : I just bought the same camera and lens you use here. This morning I made 2 trial shots of the same subject, one with the Tamron lens and another with the Nikkor 24/120 I use on my F 100 analogue. As I notice here that there is a slight loss of detail in the right side of the picture, exactly as it turned out with mine,I wonder if you took it at max focal and if you noticed the same problem at medium focals.Today I couldn't try anymore beacuse of the lousy weather. The Nikkor, although shorter, did not show any problem. I'd really appreciate an enlightment from you, many thanks from your friend Antonella

Great composition of colours, great (also) composition of objects. The woody background is the best for the main object you have here. The presentation is very nice!
