hi lowell, well.. you have so many different things on display in your folio, i had to pick up one in order to introduce myself and to say thank you for your kind comments.. so, why this one? mostly because this picture is about everything i like, photography painting and their relationship.. then, assuming that those painting are from a caribbean painter, what i found intriguing is the fact that it shows something different than the "traditional, classical and colorful" caribeean paintings, some would say unequivocal but it seems to me that the equivoque and the contradiction are the real major points of this, aren't they?.. finally and in return i really think those closeup portraits could certainly inspire some photographers.. and in the end i suppose we could call it a metapicture.. interesting and abyssal indeed!

Clara and Ana at the museum of modern art of Santo Domingo, visiting the 5th Caribbean Bienal of art, at the back are the paintings of haitian artist, sorry about the name. This one is a sketch for a work that I want to do, for a new cultural center that we have in our city, between art and the reaction of the public, working with hidden cameras, micro and sometimes video in the cases of sound and movie, I will not show the identity of the person, is my first idea

This is such a fab capture - really love it... think it's funny the fact that through the body language you can tell the ladies are seriously discussing these works of art - as the subject-matter cracks up laughing in the background... yeah! Cherie

I assume Altaf's comment means he's going to select this as an editor's choice or something. Now I think the subject matter and the way it's framed is quite clever, and the blue duotone coloring is nice, but the lighting is pretty bad on the righthand side (though, maybe it could be dodged?) and the composition seems a bit "shoved up" to the top of the frame with too much floor showing. Maybe I'm just a jealous neophyte? I don't know. It is nice though. Regards.

What I like about it: The shade of blue, which is very cool and light. The series of pictures on the wall (usually the background is just a background and nobody pays attention to it, but this one cannot be ignored, it's as important as the 2 women). The fact that the image stresses out the idea of horizontality. The texture of the floor and the very subtle reflections of the visitors and paintings. What I don't like: It does not have a title (just kidding). Regards, Hanna
