At 8:30 in the morning, the ice was flowing at Huntingdon Quebec on the chateauguay River. I thought that the wavy line drawn by the separation of ice and water was worth a capture.
Your photo is awsome. I find it so beautiful. And the fact that it is the Chateaugyay River is more precious to me since it is a photo of our wonderful Quebec province. I live in Montréal. I received your comment for my apple. I don't very much come to Usefilm now. I have been so disappointed by the so few critiques and feedbacks I received here that I went to another site where there is more feedback and the possibility to learn is greater. This site is "www.photopoints.com" . My URL there is " http.//sucho.com" but it does not look like it is functionning now. Anyway my apple is there and I did some extra work on it to make it look better. If you go to this site, go under "users" and I am listed by my full name. I think you just have to type it. I also encounter computer problems these days and sometime I cannot connect and answer e-mails. I hope to correct this as soon as possible. If you don't receive an answer after you try to contact me, it would be because of that. By the way I saw your portfolio. For a not "to loose" photographer you do quite good. I have been impressed by your work. Regards, Suzanne :-)
Certainly worth a capture! It looks as if you were standing in the ice-water... It's a pit the shadow is so deep, though. It would have been nice to have the highlights on the ice sparkling much closer to us. But we have to take what is there, right?
