You said this is a bit of cliche, Ken ? Well, looking at it that way, so many shots are cliches... So what ? :-) I think it's quite ok, well composed. Maybe a bit strange to have the people at the bottom disappearing this way in the background, but still quite a neat shot in a cliche category. 6 or 7 seems fair to me. Regards.

Ken, this is marvelous. Truly a "golden" moment. My favorite part of the photo is the backlighting on the clouds. Fantastic.

No filters here. The orange color comes naturally when it's a little hazy and you shoot directly toward a low sun. Very little twiddling in Photoshop was necessary, mainly just a slight crop and a little darkening of the people at lower left.

Neat shot! The reflection of the sun past the edge of the peir (and leading up to the people in silouette) is a nice touch. Did you use any filters? I've never had much luck shooting with the sun quite so high during a sunset.
