An original take. I think you've got a lot of good ideas in you portfolio.
I love how the trees look like they are made of ice.
The fog looked great thumb nail but I don't think the orange fog really looks like an event of any kind. Perhaps if it was more opaque orange fog?

can't say it looks like an old time photo to me. but thats certainly not to say i dislike it. i think it's got a creepy, haunting mood. i like it.
