About Taken at twilight during a raging snow storm (16" snow)with gale force winds. A typical noreaster. I liked the warmth of the incandescent interrior in contrast to the bitter cold out side. Managed about 4 shots before my fingers froze up.

Beautiful winter scene. The red lights really add a nice contrast. Great capture, I like it very much.

Hello Bill!

Very nice and mysterious... I like the composition and because of light a bit red towers!
My compliments!

ABOUT THE COLIBRI (Humming bird): I have an old TBL With a very good focus 70-300mm. Unfortunately with no autofocus. The shot was also taken without a stative so it was probably both: I shaked a little and I mistfocused it a little. An original is also a little bit brighter, but I didn't know I can correct it when I uploaded the picture.
Unfortunatelly I didn't have second chance...

Best regards,
Andrej

Bill, this looks so very icy cold. Nice contrast of cools and warms. You've got that good old yankee perseverance. Nice work.

Beautiful moody scene Bill. Excellent exposure. Wonderful light and contrast between the warm colors of the towers and the cool blue tones in the surrounding. Cropping on top is a bit tight so it would have been better with a little more camera tild to get some more sky in the image. I can imagine why you would like to return to Brazil after a view on the beautiful colorful pics you've made overthere. Thanks for looking at my photo's on Usefilm and the website and for the mail ofcourse. We will keep in touch....Best regards Harry

I can feel the cold as I look at this Bill. A most unusual and interesting building does it straddle a river or something? Good composition and focus and I like the glow from the lights on the towers. I think it way want levelling a bit.
