About	Last weekend I went to the Mojave, mainly to shoot abandoned buildings. This gas station is on Route 66, east of Barstow.

Excellent. I agree with the conversion for the mood. I'm so fascinated by your images. I could sit here all night and look and comment on every one of them, but I do have to sleep at some point :)

Ektachrome is indeed color film; I converted the image to black and white in Photoshop, for mood purposes.

I do not know very much about slide film, but isn't this a color film? I was looking to see if you used a filter for the sky on this shot and saw the ektachrome on the film used. Don't get me wrong, I like this in b&w. gives it the abandoned feel with the brush in the road. Good capture.
