Hi, my first thoughts are that the whole flower is just a tad out of focus, and you might have been better using a much smaller f-stop with a much longer exposure. As an example I just posted a feather with a drop of water, I used an f32 and 30 seconds exposure to get the greatest depth of field possible.
Give it a try.
