About One of mine common tasks in the army was vehicles recognition, even though it can be a distanced sihouette. The aircraft on the left is a F-15 Eagle (used as today), and on the right is a P-51 Mustang (used during WWII). Taken at an airshow at Wichita, Kansas.

I only had a 200 mm zoom. The planes look kinda small (in mine). I like the closeness you got better, I think, even though the quality might not be that good. Good airshow shots are difficult anyway.
Cheers!

Yes, Marc, I was. Unfortunately, I forgot not to used maxium focal lenght due to the poor performance at 300mm zoom.

I've got an almost identical shot from an airshow in Toronto, for the CNE. I think mine was an f-16, but the other was a mustang too. were you at the maximum focal length for this?
