Antonella. Sorry if in any way u felt insulted by my comment or rating...
You say my pictures are for men and I agree. I see things differently than you do simply because I am in fact a man. I know what turns me on and what works for me and that is what I like.
Now going back to your picture. I don't have a problem taking the responsibility of my ratings. I gave u a 4.5 because, even though u call yourself a purist, you modified this picture with Photoshop.
I am sorry but unless the photo was overexposed to begin with, it was your "pursim" that did it. And, everybody else seems to agree that the white areas do not work.
It is unfortunate that you chose to "attack" my style, my skills and me being just a man simply because I expressed my feelings for the picture in numbers...

I notice that you like to bring the lightest skin tones right up to full white, almost as if they had been burned out. I'm not sure if I like this effect, although I recognise that it is deliberate. For instance, I find it a little disturbing on the fingers or the right hand and the exposed stomach near them in this shot. I think what bothers me is that the other tones--mid greys to black--are so well reproduced, so it seems strange when the whites are not treated the same way.

Che bello questo ritratto, non so se riuscirei a farne uno così, neppure se mi "imprestassi" la modella!! ;) Come negli altri, mi piace la posa e l'espressione della modella, anche il toning, mi sembra invece che alcune zone della pelle siano troppo chiare. Ciao Max
