Great photo, Chriatian. Good composition, using the rule of thirds effectively, and good depth of field. The grass in the foreground adds depth to the image. Very nice.

Very nice indeed. I love the way the bright green of the grass contrasts with the greys of the water and sky.

Thanks all for your comments! The lightning of the grass was all natural, the sun came from behind in a very low angle. And to emphasise the lit grass, I used the Cokin 120 grad grey to darken the sky.

Did you use flash to brighten the grass? I like the contrasts of light. The brightness of the Coastalgrass vs. the rest of the scene. The colors are beautiful. I think the lighting on the grass is a great way to focus attention to your subject. It's not one usually used. Well done.

I love the colors and lighting here! I don't think you need more blurring in the grass; a slight touch to suggest motion is plenty. Why is the grass so brightly lit compared to the rocks?

The journey yout take the eye on in this frame is really good. I like the colours, very dramatic approach. The blurring seems more wind created then anything and as you mention appears to add to the drama.. I like the use of the polerizer on this very moody shot.

Great color... I think the dramatic impact would be a little greater if the grass was slightly out of focus (smaller depth of field) rather than from the motion blur, which seems somehow uneven to me...

Thanks Deb! The blur was intentional to create a bit of drama to the scene. And that particularly day, it was quite windy as well.

This one is just magic - I even like the blur in the grass, it seems to add to the mood ...
