Excellent lighting!
The textures of both the snow and the steel pipes are very well revealed.

Great and well balanced composition. Just enough snow to show how amazing it contrasts with the rusty tubes.
Excellent work, Harlan

I like Patricia's suggestion for a crop - I think if you went to black and white - perhaps sepia you could create a very evocative shot of coldness and winter - something a little less about industry (I know your fascinations - but you know mine;)

Pella, Iowa - about an hour south of Des Moines...some wonderful old barns on the route down, some neat windswept trees and most of all a couple of abandoned homes that are just wonderful...

Hi,Harlan ...the clarity, composition, color balance all seem very well done to my eye...i like simple subjects like this...the only thing i would have done differently is to remove writing marks with PS since they distract me a bit...Gayle
