Square framing is my favorite. I'd love to see more of the shadow and try to separate it from the actual object. I would also suggest use manual focus and focusing not on the object but a little "before" it to make DOF work betterJ

The strong graphic quality of this image is nice. There is an interesting contrast between the simplicity of the composition and the textures in the objects you included. Keep exploring this pathway...it is interesting!
