Looks like an interesting subject, and of course it would have cought my attention as well. The challenge with these sort of scenes is deciding what to leave out of the frame, as oposed to what to include... hehehe
This is a tad too busy for my liking. It has already been suggested that a crop could improve the image. I'm not sure if that would be enough. It is noted that this is an abstract, and as such this might have a different apeal to others. In my humble opinion, you've "seen" much better images than this.

Okay, I like the cropped version but I like how you shaded the light yellow in in order to offset the ductwork. Yup, this is probably something I would see and try to shoot. good work, A.

Real nice textures here along with the usual muted construction colors. I'm liking all the lines.

Thanks - I know abstracts are hard to comment on. I took Steve's advice and cropped it. I was hesitant to do it at first cause I thought without the crop it provided more movement. I do like this better. Hmmmm, guess I have to admit that Steve was right... damnit. Alisa

Hey! I know this place!!!! Seem like I was there just the other day :) I would have to agree with Steve's assesment, a little tighter crop would make all the difference. However, the colors and the exposure are great, you saw good!

This needs a tighter top and bottom crop to eliminate the dark areas and the pipe at top.

well, it's definitely abstract. ;) it's a bit busy for me though. too many lines. the pipe in the upper right and the light stands (?) in the lower left throw me all off. part of me wants to know where you found this decrepit hvac system yet part of me doesn't.
