About This is a pinhole image with a time concept - when working with pinhole you can't just snap a shot in most cases - the exposures are long - so i decided to make my surroundings a more important part of the image and let the normal "subject" (NYC skyline in this case) be seen in a different manner - in motion ..
If it makes sense i let the camera be "one" with the ferry boat - and hoped that the skyline would play a roll in it all .. in the end it is what i see every day - it is what i feel - so i really am happy with what happened -

I am thinking of when your in a TV store looking at all those screens
but they usually show MTV - on 60 monitors uh
so I like this much better
I also like the detail in the ceiling ( ventilation?)
Great to look at this image
and very fine colours!

Magic. Love the tone, the sense of movement, the use of a pinhole camera.

John, this certainly captures both...like when you close your eyes and slowly open them. Neat!
I understand now about exposure time and the pinhole.:)

John,

Good work. I really like the vivid red of the chair and how it plays as a stationary subject against the beiges and brilliant blue of the 'rolling' skyline.

good idea and result (I tried pinholing from the driving car, but expousre time was too long to fix anything ...)
