Thank you for your attention and comments, M. A. Yes, this was done with IR, a format I love as it gives a surreal cast to everything it touches!

Tim I have just gone through your portfolio and really like your strong sense of composition edited right down to the important aspect of what your image is about. this takes a long time to develop and it shows your experience. excellent photos. oh yes this one on the first page really jumped out at me. fantastic in sepia!
Cheers, Tim S

This is beautiful! I have never tried infrared photography. How does it differ in shooting? I have several red 25a filters, and one which I'm not sure of ( may be dymidium?) Would they suffice to achieve this effect? And is the metering the same as with other film? I'd appreciate some good advice here.. I'd love to try it!

I wish there will always be places like this, far from the lights of the city, where at night the stars look as if they're only 50 feet in the air. And you can roam all day and never find the end of the horizon.

Hi Tim, thanks for your comment on "I'm Blue...". I'm not that good at photoshop to be able to achieve this soft focus effect :-) I prefer to leave the photos as they are and usually only check the sharpness and resize for "Usefilm". This photo of yours though is for me a real winner. it has a sort of "The Horse Whisperer" look to it. Did you see the fim? Beautfully photographed as is your photo! Regards from Switzerland, neil

I'm a sucker for a good infrared shot and this is a good one -- my favorite in your portfolio! Infrared is great on old abandoned structures! I look forward to seeing more! Thanks for your comments on my photos too!!

Tim, an outstanding composition. Love the tones. Never would have realized this was IR unless I had seen it in your comments. If anything, I'd suggest some burning and dodging, and perhaps some levels adjustments, as it appears a bit dark and muddy in the shadow areas. Great eye.

Might be an abandoned bus stop. Not to be used any more. Even the road is gone. (Fantasy) Excellent B&W and IR work! Like the tone.
