That is a wonderful action/nature photo...you retained the form of the duck while capturing the action...beautiful...exposure is good...I might be tempted to crop out the dark at the top just to keep emphasis on the duck...the effect on the water behind is excellent...great image...my compliments

The background both helps and distracts from this shot. It helps because it is out of focus and allows us to focus on the bird, but its patterns also interfers with the shape of the wings. It is amazing how sharp the bird is when the wings are flapping away like this. It is the essence of flight, especially fun to see it in a duck which is not the most graceful bird that comes to my mind, but that is the impression I take away from this photo. Congrats on the POD.
