lovely composition Alex, a little less saturation would be better for a more natural look, sometimes just increasing the contrast can give one the look they want in an image.

Ken, thanks for the comment...
You are correct I did boost the saturation up because this was a scan from a print taken from a APS film. I'm aware that this is not the best method to digitize pictures but the only I have until I get better equipment. The colors you see on the tree are actually moss and lichen that were probably brought up by the saturation.

This is very pretty, great composition, but you might work on disguising the fact that you apparently boosted the saturation a lot in Photoshop. This shows up for example in the red and green visible on the tree trunk. Or maybe I'm wrong and the trunk really has those colors!
We don't see that sort of color here in southern California.
